Bobcats defeat Lions
Sept. 25, 2007 Miami Gardens, Fla - The St. Thomas (4-9 FSC 2-3) volleyball team broke their five match losing streak by defeating the Florida Memorial Lions in four games (18-30, 11-30, 30-28, 11-30). Karla Vargas and Maria Roman lead team in kills registering 15 each. Both girls also had an exceptional day serving the ball, Vargas had four service aces and Roman had three. Julianne Rivera lead the team in assist compiling 46. Caitlin Smith also put in a fine effort ending the day with a team high seven digs. The ladies play again October 5 at Flagler at 7 PM. |
