Miami Gardens, Fl - The St. Thomas University women's tennis team battled the nationally ranked Clayton State University Lakers. At the end of seven games the Lakers left the court unblemished, winning the match 7-0.

Grier Clark turned in the best performance for the Bobcats (1-8) losing in singles competition 6-1, 6-4. Playing with San-rise Crosby, Clark had a chance to win in doubles play but a default cost the duo the win.

The Bobcats play again March 8, at 2 pm at home against Webber International.
