DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Florida Sun Conference has announced the pairings for the 2008 FSC Women's Basketball Tournament, which is being hosted by Webber International, Feb. 21-23. The tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa Mar. 12-18.

St. Thomas will begin play Thursday, February 21 at 6 PM against Florida Memorial. The two teams split their two regular season match ups, with both teams winning on their home floor. The Bobcats won their last match up 69-57 with five players scoring 10 or more points.

Northwood topped the regular season standings with a 9-3 league record, earning the No. 1 seed in the tournament, which affords them a first-round bye. Savannah College of Art & Design and Webber International had identical 8-4 FSC records but WIU won the tiebreaker to earn the No. 2 seed followed by SCAD at No. 3. Florida Memorial (7-5), St. Thomas (6-6), Edward Waters (3-9) and Warner Southern (1-11) are seeded fourth through seventh, respectively.

Quarterfinals - Thursday, Feb. 21 Game 1 - #3 SCAD vs. #6 Edward Waters, 4 p.m. Game 2 - #4 Florida Memorial vs. #5 St. Thomas, 6 p.m. Game 3 - #2 Webber International vs. #7 Warner Southern, 8 p.m.

Semifinals - Friday, Feb. 22 Game 4 - #1 Northwood vs. Winner Game 2, 5 p.m. Game 5 - Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 3, 7 p.m.

Championship - Saturday, Feb. 23 Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 3 p.m.
