Miami Gardens - The St. Thomas University men's tennis team went back hand for back hand and serve for serve with St. Peter's College yet by the end of the of their match the Bobcats were on the losing end of a 3-6 contest.

The Bobcats (4-10) scored two wins in singles play and one in doubles play. Jeremy Bache rolled over his competition winning 7-5, 6-3. Kenneth Evans won his singles match also with a little more resistance, winning 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

Ricardo Marquez almost gave the Bobcats three victories in singles play but he could not pull out the last match in his best of three singles match. His effort would be rewarded in doubles play though as he teamed with Federico Acevedo to win 9-7.

The Bobcats will play again March 25 at home against Lindenwood at 2:00 pm.
