Bruce Carrington has been the Head Men's and Women's coach, and Director of Tennis for St. Thomas University since 2000. Coach Carrington is a PTR Certified Professional Coach that has 30 years experience coaching competitive and recreational players.

During his career he has worked with ATP professional players and members of the French, Brazilian, and Haitian Davis Cup Teams. He has produced a Florida Sun Conference Individual Champion, and also coached nationally ranked teams and players for St. Thomas University.

Coach Carrington has recently received Region XIV Coach of Character award as well as the ITA/USTA community service award and the USTA volunteer award for 15 years of service. He currently is also a staff coach for the Greater Miami Tennis Foundation and teaches tennis programs at several Miami-Dade county public schools.
