Box Score

Lake Wale, Fl - St. Thomas won their third straight defeating the Warner Southern Royals 2-1. Sebastian Hebeir and Andres Amortegui scored for the Bobcats.

Hebeir's goal came on a penalty kick in the first period. The foul was one of many during a physical game, the Bobcats committed 11 fouls and the Royals committed 12. St. Thomas (5-10-1 FSC 2-8) also earned six yellow cards and a red card, while Warner Southern was whistled for three yellow cards.

Royals (11-3-1) goalkeeper Luis Rincon allowed his second goal of the game at the 67:56 mark. Rincon would save one shot before being replaced by Robert Highley for the last fifteen minutes of the game.

Rincon would try to make up for the goals he allowed by changing his position. He was almost successful scoring on a penalty kick during the 89th minute. St. Thomas goalkeeper Diego Villagos prevented Rincon and the Royals' late game charge, part of a seven save performance.

The Bobcats play again October 27 at Bobcat Field at 7 PM.
