St. Thomas Place Fifth in Regionals

LAKE WALES, Fla. - St. Thomas finished their cross country season with a fifth place finished at the NAIA Region XIV Championship. The men's team finished above Florida Memorial College and Edward Waters and had a total team time of 2:43:55.39 in the 8K race.

Senior Alden Woolcock had the best individual time for the Bobcats, finishing the race at 27:45.43, placing 11th overall. Senior Jamille Nelson finished the race 33rd with a time of 32:03.30.

Junior Samantha Jacobson had the best time for the women's team. Jacobson finished 22nd out of 46 races with a time of 23:55.03.
